One-Stop career centers are operated by county and local workforce agencies, and offer a wide range of services for job seekers and businesses, including resume-writing advice, job training information, career workshops, recruitment assistance and access to thousands of job listings.
Department of Labor Career Services Locations
Department of Labor Division of Employment Services offices also provide convenient "one-stop shopping" for employment-related needs. They offer many DOL programs in a single location – including career-related assistance and services for employers. Some offices are located in One-Stop Career Centers, where the Department of Labor works in tandem with county and local workforce agencies.
Labor Standards District Offices The Division of Labor Standards protects the rights of private sector employees at their workplaces through outreach, training and enforcement of the New York State Labor law. The Division maintains eight regional offices, in addition to a special Apparel Industry/Fair Wages Task Force located in New York City.
Regional Labor Market Analysts
The New York State Department of Labor has labor market analysts in 10 locations across the state. These analysts help employers and economic developers by providing data about wages, economic trends, availability of labor, and so forth. They also help job seekers by providing occupational and career information.
Apprenticeship Training Representatives
