| How to Obtain Information Regarding Corporate Name Availability: Visit the website for the NYS Department of State at www.dos.state.ny.us and search the data base provided for this purpose. Or - contact the Department of State at : NYS Department of State E-mail:info@dos.state.ny.us The Rules for the IBA require that proof of name availability be submitted for every new corporate name proposed, and that such proof be submitted either in the form of a certification from the NYS Department of State, or correspondence from the submitting attorney, confirming that the Department of State records have been searched, and the name is available. |
