Combine a generous donation by the Binghamton Mets with the dedication of Department of Labor and partner staff in Binghamton and you’ve got the makings of a magic combination.
This magic was on display on Wednesday, June 23 at NYSEG Stadium in Binghamton where the Binghamton Mets took on the New Britain Rock Cats. The Mets provided 1,500 vouchers (worth 3,000 tickets) to the unemployed and their families for last night’s game. While the Mets went down in defeat 10-2, everyone in attendance still had a great time.
