The bank now has a total of 16 branches on Long Island.
CPI Aerostructures Inc. Suffolk 04-08-2008 Edgewood (Suffolk) – based CPI Aerostructures Inc., has received an $800,000 contract from Northrop Grumman Corp to produce casings to hold electronic equipment mounted on the Navy's MH-60S minesweeper helicopter. (Newsday – April 8, 2008)
D'Addario & Co Suffolk 04-14-2008 D'Addario & Co of Farmingdale reports that export markets are booming for the 400,000 guitar and violin strings and 7,500 drumheads they produce each day. Export sales increased 28% between 2005 and 2007. Exports rose to 40% of the company's $115 million revenue on 2007, from 35% in 2005.
Jaco Electronics Suffolk 04-09-2008 Jaco Electronics Inc., a Hauppauge (Suffolk) based distributor of electronic components won its largest contract to manufacture 4,500 optical-scan voting machines for use by the handicapped in NYS. Jaco will add 40-50 people to its 120 Long Island workforce. Jaco employs 220 people within the U.S. (Newsday - April 9, 2008)
