Description
Agricultural Environmental Management (AEM) Certified Planners are certified to develop Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans (CNMP) for Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFO) regulated farms in NYS. AEM Planner Certification requires Certified Crop Advisor accreditation, National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) online and classroom training, successful completion of the three plan review process, and successful completion of on-going quality assurance reviews by CNMP Specialists in the Dept. of Agriculture and Markets.
