Description
A land surveyor measures the earth's surface to determine property boundaries and to provide data for mapmaking, construction projects, and other engineering purposes.
Licensing Requirements
An applicant must file an application for licensure/registration with the New York State Education Department, Office of the Professsions, to practice as a land surveyor in New York State.
