Some of the most interesting and high paying jobs today need workers educated and trained in STEM. Exciting STEM careers include research, design, engineering, health care and biotechnology. Currently there are a growing number of firms looking to hire graduates with STEM-related skills. There are more job openings in the United States for trained scientists than there are people to fill them. This need for scientists is expected to grow in the coming years. A young person today who embarks upon a path of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics will be able to work anywhere in the world and get paid excellent wages.
