LWIA On-the-Job Training Policy
LWIAs must have written OJT policies and procedures that address specific program elements. These elements were derived from information contained in ETA's web-based OJT toolkit to help workforce professionals expand and strengthen their OJT strategies.
- LWIAs must implement and use the Pre-Award Review process and procedures provided by NYSDOL
- LWIAs must include certain business assurances in every OJT contract
- OJT contracts should incorporate the traditional federal certifications required for WIA funding
