LWIA's Designated Youth Services Points of Contact

The State Workforce Investment Board recommends that every local workforce investment board identify staff employed within its one-stop system:

  • to serve as a point of contact for youth services within the one-stop centers;
  • to expand business involvement in developing meaningful work experiences for youth;
  • to more closely integrate one-stop system resources into comprehensive year-round programs and the delivery of career preparation and transition-to-employment services to youth
