Key Messages From Business:
Local Follow-up Sessions: Facilitators were hired to debrief the local teams and schedule follow-up sessions in each LWIA to help team members complete revised strategic work plans for serving area youth. These plans will incorporate “lessons learned” from the Forum and specifically address issues identified by the business panelists. April Bender, of Partnerships for Quality, is in the process of scheduling each session.
Evaluation/Replication of Pilot: April Bender will also be responsible for preparing an objective evaluation of the Forum and follow-up sessions. It is anticipated that her report will be presented to the Subcommittee during its March meeting. A decision for replicating the Hudson Valley pilot will be discussed at that time.
